What can we do for you? ECAI offers a number of possibilities for researchers to share their data and present it in new ways while still protecting the intellectual property they have in their work.
We would like to hear about your research and help you in whatever way we can. Among the services we can offer you are:

  • access to an extensive contact list of other South Asian scholars and an ECAI South Asia discussion forum;
  • the opportunity to collaborate with other scholars;
  • shared data;
  • advice on the GIS potential of your data and how it might be structured to take advantage of GIS;
  • advice on the use of ECAI tools, in particular TimeMap;
  • information about intellectual property and copyright issues and how to protect your ownership of the data while still making it available;
  • assistance in the creation of descriptive and connection metadata for your datasets.
